It’s been 12 months since we launched the first version of VehiclePlannerPlus, and the first year has been heavily focussed on making sure the tool includes all the data our clients need – particularly the penetration data we know is so important to decision-making.

Welcome to VehiclePlannerPlus v2.0.00

We still have more data to incorporate, but over the coming months you’ll also start to notice various functionality and usability improvements. This starts with today’s release of VehiclePlannerPlus v2.0.00, which brings with it…

• A new Homepage: this is your new launchpad to VehiclePlannerPlus, and brings together your saved/recent insights, the latest blog entries and a preview of your latest Dashboard scores
• A new Dashboard: your new competitiveness dashboard has been designed to help you identify areas of strengths and weaknesses across your model line-up. By navigating across the various charts, you can drill deeper to understand how individual models are performing across different types of features and against different competitors. Click here to find out more about how we’ve calculated scores.
• A new Help Section: with a growing set of functionalities and insights comes a greater need for explanations and help articles. So we’ve incorporated a new Help Section into your navigation bar, which includes commonly asked questions, insight methodologies and feature definitions.

Over the next few months we will also be releasing various other major funcitons, including: Notifications (giving you transparency on what’s changing in the marketplace and how it affects your competitiveness), Visualization (enabling you to create and export ready-to-use charts from your tables) and Search (creating simple/fast queries via a Search Bar).

Fixed bugs and minor improvements

Lastly, here are a few other minor updates we’ve made over the last month:

• Enhanced Forward Collision Prevention data now incorporated into the Safety/ADAS category
• IE compatibility improvement (previous issues on some resolution levels for older versions of IE)
• E-mail login details no-longer case-sensitive
• # of trims now correctly shown within drop-down menus
